Grammar and Mechanics	Poor The page contains more than 2 errors in grammar or mechanics, including spelling and word use.	Fair The page contains 1-2 errors in grammar or mechanics, including spelling and word use.	Good The entire page is free from grammatical and mechanical errors. Words are used properly, and spelled correctly.
Artistic Quality	Poor Care was not taken to show student's ability. Line qualities are erratic and/or sloppy. Colors do not exhibit a sense of harmony.	Fair Care has been taken, but the student could have been more careful to show their highest work. Line qualities are inconsistent. A color scheme may or may not have been followed to create a mood for the page.	Good Care has been taken to show the student's highest artistic ability. Line qualities are chosen purposefully. A color scheme was followed to create a mood for the page, and was followed.
