	Novice 1 pts	Basic 3 pts	Proficient 5 pts
Explain World Hunger	Novice I do not explain world hunger or why it is a problem.	Basic I explain either world hunger OR I refer to only to a problem.	Proficient I am able to explain world hunger and say why it is a problem.
Read to Feed Program	Novice I do not clearly explain how the Read to Feed program OR how to support me. Supporters will definitely have to contact the teacher for clarification	Basic I make note of the Read to Feed program but do not explain it in detail and how supporters can pledge. Supporters may have to contact the teacher for more clarification.	Proficient I explain the Read to Feed program in detail, explaining how I will read outside of class and supporters can pledge an amount for each 15 minutes that I read.
Asking for Support	Novice I do not ask for support.	Basic I ask for support.	Proficient I ask for support with enthusiasm.
