Football Skills Rubric Students will be able to demonstrate proper technique and execute the various basic skills of Football
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Throwing Football Student shows the ability to hold fingers around laces of football.	Poor Student can not properly hold football. Fingers do not enfold laces.	Fair Student has some fair capability of gripping the football.	Good Student has a good grip on the football. Fingers are in the proper spots on the lacing.	Excellent Student can show most of the technique.
Catching Football Proper Stance/ Show target/ Keep Eyes on ball/Catch with hands/ Catch Ball	Poor Student does not show any type of stance. The focus level of student is not on the ball. Student catches the ball with the body.	Fair Student shows sporadic stance. Student catches the ball with the body as well as the hands intermittantly.	Good Student can perform skill with some consistency in showing a proper stance. Catches the ball with the hands oppose to with body.	Excellent Student can perform the skill on a consistent basis. Student catches the ball with hands. With consistent focus on the ball.
