Finding the Perimeter Finding the Perimeter Students used a ruler to draw and measure a polygon. They wrote the measurements around the shape and then, found the perimeter. Rubric Code: WXX5486 By haviles Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Math Type: Assignment Grade Levels: K-5

Measurements	Far Below -Student was unable to draw a polygon and/or measure correctly.	Approaching Standard -Student was able to draw a polygon but most measurements were incorrect.	Meeting Standard -Student was able to draw a polygon but measured one side incorrectly.	Exceeding Standard -Student was able to draw a polygon and correctly measure the sides.
Perimeter	Far Below -Student was unable to determine the perimeter of the polygon.	Approaching Standard -Student measured incorrectly and as a result used an incorrect math model. -Did not label answer	Meeting Standard -Student used the correct math model but made an error in calculation or did not label answer.	Exceeding Standard -Student was able to find the perimeter and labeled answer, e.g., inches, cm.
