Basketball Mechanics
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Dribbling	Poor Cannot keep control of the basketball. Eyes are down almost all of the time, slaps ball with palm, poor mechanics.	Fair Keeps moderate control of the ball. Eyes are in front some of the time and is utilizing some mechanics of dribbling. Uses only one hand to dribble.	Good Exceptional ball control. Eyes are up and is focused ahead. Utilizing proficient mechanics, and exceptional use of both hands to dribble.
B.E.E.F	Poor Arms are flailing outwards, student is unbalanced and shooting on the move, does not follow through.	Fair Student is utilizing some mechanics of B.E.E.F, shot is mostly accurate. Elbows and eyes are focused sometimes and is following through occasionally.	Good Student shows proficient mastery of shooting form. Student is balanced, elbows in, eyes focused on the shot, and is following through on every shot.
Teamwork	Poor Shoots out of turn, never retrieves ball for teammate. Uses foul language/put-downs and never encourages other classmates.	Fair Helps out sometimes, offers some positive reinforcement. Encourages others when prompted.	Good A very positive influence in class. Always helping others and waiting for his/her turn. Encourages classmates frequently and never uses foul language.
