Developing Student needs constant reminder to work safely and uses equipment in a potentially dangerous manner.	Accomplished Student observes most safety procedures but has occasional setbacks.	Exceptional Practices 100% safety on their own.
Stairlayout	Beginner Student was unable to markout stairs.	Developing Student was able to mark out risers and treads.	Accomplished Student was able to markout risers,treads, and kicker.	Exceptional Student was able to markout stair risers, treads, and kicker while make appropriate adjustments as needed.
Stair markout	Beginner Student was unable to complete carriage cutouts	Developing Student struggled to complete carriage cuts without assistance.	Accomplished Student was able to complete the majority of carriage cut outs using a circular saw and a handsaw.	Exceptional Student was able to cut out a stair carriage with a circular saw and a handsaw.
