Good Introduction is missing one or more of the required elements and lacked some confidence or clarity.	Needs More Effort There is no introduction.
Memorization Mastery of the words. It does NOT seem like you are just reading, but you are acting and reacting.	Excellent All lines are correct, delivered smoothly, showing solid command and understanding of the monologue.	Good Some choppiness and some lack of fluidity, needs more rehearsal.	Needs More Effort Monologue is not memorized.
Vocal Quality E.P.A. Exaggerate, Project your voice, Articulate the words.	Excellent Monologue is easy to understand and hear. All words are clear and loud enough to hear with good vocal variety.	Good Most of the monologue is easy to hear and understand but needs work on one or more of the following: exaggerate, project, articulate.	Needs More Effort Monologue cannot be heard or understood or is monotone.
Objective, Tactics, Emotions Actor shows an understanding of objective with a variety of tactics and displays a range of emotions that are believable and appropriate for the character, monologue, and style. Focal Point and Focus Actor stays in character, has a consistent focal point, and maintains focus for entire monologue.	Excellent Actor has a specific and distinct focal point that is constant. Performance is very focused the entire time.	Good Actor has a focal point that is not clear or constant. Performer sometimes loses focus.	Needs More Effort Actor lacked any focal point. Performer is not focused at all.
