	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Use of Sentence Starters	Poor Students used none of the sentence starters.	Fair Students used some of the sentence starters or used all of the sentence starters but mixed up the order.	Good Students used the sentence starters in the correct order.	Excellent Students used sentence starters in the correct order and made them flow with their steps.
Organization of Steps	Poor Students write completely different steps from their topic or students write their steps in the incorrect order or in an order that doesn't make sense.	Fair Students have some steps in the correct order but still might not make complete sense as a whole How-To.	Good Students have all of their steps in an order that makes sense.	Excellent Students have all of their steps in an order that makes sense and have added extra detail that clarify's steps on a more advanced level.
