Excellent 4 pts	Ideas/Restate The response is very specific to the task; the prompt is addressed and clearly stated and supported.	Organization Complete sentences were used throughout response/paragraph. Answer is concise and to the point.	Vocabulary/Content Information is accurate and response shows reflective thinking and connections to life skill. The task is referred to in the answer. At least 3 vivid vocabulary words in response/ paragraph.	Conventions One or fewer errors in grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation within entire response/paragraph.
Good 3 pts	Ideas/Restate The response refers to the task; the prompt is addressed, but only somewhat supported.	Organization Most of the sentences were in complete sentences (more than half).	Vocabulary/Content Information is accurate. A logical conclusion or an opinion is offered with connection to life skill. At least 2 vivid vocabulary words in response/ paragraph.	Conventions Some errors in grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation (1 or fewer per sentence).
