VP--Analyze Movie Clips Given a set of questions, students will analyze movie clips/trailers to demonstrate understanding of shots, cuts, & transitions used to enhance a movie/video. Analyzing Movie Clips

Completion	Unsatisfactory/missing Student completed less than 50% of the questions and clips	Below Standard Student completed 60% of the questions and clips	Proficient Student completed 70% of the questions and clips	Above Average Proficiency Student completed 80% of the questions and clips	Exemplary Student completed all questions and all clips
Analysis	Unsatisfactory/missing Student did not use complete sentences. Little attempt was made to analyze the clip.	Below Standard Student did not use complete sentences, nor use the terms learned relating to cuts, shots, transitions. Student has attempted to complete the assignment and follow directions, but falls short.	Proficient Students answers are complete sentences, and student has followed directions, but to reference to terms regarding cuts, shots, transitions, etc. Average paper/assignment.	Above Average Proficiency Students answers are complete sentences, and include one or two references to the terms to analyze the clip. Above average paper/assignment.	Exemplary Students answers are not only complete sentences, but also include regular use of the terms to analyze the clip. Model paper/assignment.
Spelling/Grammar	Unsatisfactory/missing Spelling and grammar errors make the paper unreadable.	Below Standard Spelling and grammar errors make the paper very difficult to read for content. Proofreading and rewrite are necessary.	Proficient Several spelling or grammar errors are present and may cause misunderstanding or confusion.	Above Average Proficiency One or two small grammar errors may be present but they do not impede grading or understanding.	Exemplary No spelling or grammar errors were noticed.
