This rubric will assess the presentation of partners through various requirements used to teach the DAP EDUC 304 class.

Planning of Time (Intentionality)

The preservice teachers do not have the intentionality of "planned parts" and/or did not give the 1 typed page to the Instructor before the presentation is to begin.

The preservice teachers have the presentation broken down into intentional "planned parts" but, do not have the 1 page paper run off and given to the Instructor before presentation should begin.

The preservice teachers have the presentation broken into "planned parts"showing intentionality. This is shared with the Instructor on 1 typed page. This is given to instructor before presentation has begun.
Powerpoint and Visuals

There was no ppt and/or visual aid of quality.

The preservice teachers provided a ppt and a visual aid. The ppt was too wordy, OR grammar errors more than 1, or not easily read. OR the visual aid was not effective or creative. If a video, it was longer than 20 minutes.
Good
The preservice teachers provided a ppt and a visual aid. The ppt was clear, and not wordy with lots of sentences. It was used to guide the presenters. At least one other visual aid was used. If a video, it was not longer than 20 minutes.
Learning activity for audience
Poor
There is no "active learning activity".
Fair
The preservice teachers provide an "active learning activity"" but it is more than 30 minutes and/or less than 20 minutes. It is not creative or useful to learn the presented chapter.
Good
The preservice teachers provided an "active learning activity" that helps teach the chapter for the audience. The audience is active and learning the concepts taught. This activity is creative and useful. It is NOT a worksheet. The learning activity is 30 minutes or no less than 20 minutes.
