PROJECT INTERVIEW
Work with a partner to write questions and answers for an interview with one of you being the interviewer and the other the main character. Dressing as the character is optional.

Introduction
Very Good
The interviewer introduced self and gave quality background information on the main character before introducing him/her.
Good
The interviewer introduced self and gave some background information on the main character before introducing him/her.
Fair
The interviewer did not introduce self and/or gave little background information on the main character before introducing him/her.
Poor
The interviewer did not introduce self and/or gave insufficient background information on the main character before introducing him/her.
Open Ended Questions
Very Good
Questions were reasonable and insightful. They covered all of the major events in the book.
Good
Questions led to discussion without "yes" or "no" answers. They covered the majority of the book from the beginning to end.
Fair
Most but not all questions were answered with "yes" or "no". They covered at least half of the information presented in the book, but could have done more.
Poor
Questions could be answered with a "yes" or "no". The interview was too short and missed a lot of the information presented in the text.

Questions generated answers
Very Good
Exceptional questions and guiding questions. Obviously put a lot of thought and time into this project.
Good
Great questions and guiding questions were used to keep the main character talking.
Fair
Guiding questions were used but did not reflect the purposes of the interview
Poor
Interviewer got off track and didn't stay on the main ideas of the story.
Main Character
Very Good
Dressed/acted in character and was very responsive to the interviewer giving complete/accurate answers.
Good
Was in character but was a little vague with some of the answers. Elaborated on many of the answers.
Fair
Did not appear as the "main character" in dress or in voice.
Was not able to answer some of the questions.
Poor
Was not in character at all and was ill prepared to qive adequate answers. Needed to spend more time preparing.
