Plain Weave	Basic The student did not follow directions. Plain weave did not follow the over under pattern.	Proficient The student followed directions; however there were 1-2 mistakes	Advanced The student followed all directions thoroughly and followed the pattern of over under.
Weave of your choice	Basic The student did not follow directions.	Proficient The student followed directions; however there were 1-2 mistakes.	Advanced The studnet followed all directions thoroughly and followed the pattern.
Neatness	Basic The student's work was not neat	Proficient The student's work was somewhat neat	Advanced The student's work was excellent.
Time and effort	Basic The student did not use class time wisely and had to be helped and/or redirected frequently.	Proficient The student did not always use class time wisely and needed occasional redirection.	Advanced The student used class time wisely and worked independently.
Finishing	Basic The weaving was started, but it was not completed.	Proficient The weaving was completed, but the ends or loose threads were not all neatly woven in.	Advanced The weaving was completed and the edges were neatly finished with all loose yarns woven in.
