Mechanics	Poor Students spell multiple word incorrectly, and use sentence fragments within work	Fair Students write complete sentences, but spelled multiple word incorrectly, or used content specific vocabulary incorrectly	Good Students used well-organized sentence structure and complete sentence. Students incorrectly spell no more than 2 words.
collaboration/participation	Poor Students work is done only by one student, and little to no effort is shown by one or both students.80-20	Fair One student carried the primary work load 60-40, but the student participated and helped when asked	Good The paired work is split evenly between the students, and both participated equally in the creation of the all about book
Legibility	Poor Students hand writing is not legible enough to read.	Fair The students writing is average, but in some spots in their writing legibility gets in the way of understanding.
