Content	Excellent 100% of the content requirements were met.	Good 75% of the content requirements were met.	Fair 50% of the content requirements were met.	Poor Less than 50% of content requirements were met.
Writing Structure	Excellent A high degree of control of structure (spelling, grammar, word order, etc.) Errors do not hinder overall comprehension.	Good Some control of structure. Errors DO NOT hinder overall comprehension.	Fair Some control of structure. Errors DO hinder overall comprehension in some areas.	Poor Little control of structure. Errors impede overall comprehension.
Vocabulary/Grammar	Excellent Utilizes the pertinent vocabulary/grammar. Uses the vocabulary/grammar all correctly all of the time.	Good Utilizes some of the pertinent vocabulary/grammar. Uses the vocabulary/grammar correctly most of the time.	Fair Utilizes few of the pertinent vocabulary/grammar. Uses the vocabulary/grammar INCORRECTLY most of the time.	Poor Utilizes very little of the pertinent vocabulary/grammar. Uses the vocabulary/grammar INCORRECTLY almost all of the time.
Speaking Clarity & Fluency	Excellent Students speak clearly and distinctly all the time with good pronunciation.	Good Students speak clearly and distinctly all the time with few pronunciation errors.	Fair Students speak clearly and distinctly most of the time with acceptable pronunciation.	Poor Students often mumble and cannot be understood OR have multiple pronunciation errors.
Preparedness	Excellent Students are completely prepared and have obviously rehearsed.	Good Students seem pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals.	Fair Students are somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Poor Student do not seem at all prepared to present.
