Music Review Game Students will create a game that will review the basic music elements presented in earlier lessons. Students will work in small groups. Rubric Code: VA8224 By dvondero Draft Public Rubric Subject: Music Type: Assignment Grade Levels: 6-8

Music Review Game

Subject Matter	Beginning Game only includes 1 or 2 notes in each clef. Note Names - Treble Clef and Bass Clef	Developing Game includes 3-5 notes in each clef. Note Names - Treble Clef and Bass Clef	Proficient Game includes 6-7 notes in each clef. Note Names - Treble Clef and Bass Clef	Advanced Game includes 8 or more notes in each clef.\ Note Names - Treble Clef and Bass Clef
Showmanship	Beginning Game is unorganized. There is no color to the game and pieces. Directions are missing for the game or are very difficult to understand.	Developing Game is slightly organized. There is color missing from the game and pieces. Directions are tough to interpret.	Proficient Game is pretty organized. The group attempted to add color to the game and pieces. The game directions are fairly easy to follow.	Advanced Game is well organized. AND There is lots of color to the game and pieces. AND It is easy to follow the directions.
Individual Participation	Beginning The student was rarely an active member of the group. They were often off task and were not working on parts of the game very often.	Developing The student was sometimes an active member of the group. They were sometimes on task and sometimes working on parts of the game.	Proficient The student was a fairly active member of the group. They were often on task and working on parts of the game.	Advanced The student was an active member of the group. They were always on task and were working on parts of the game.
