Sports Presentation Rubric
	Level 1 - Confused 4 pts	Level 2 - Trying 6 pts	Level 3 - Understand 8 pts	Level 4 - Expert 10 pts
Origin of the sport	Level 1 - Confused Students presented inaccurate or no information about their sport's origin and history.	Level 2 - Trying Students presented little to no information about the origin or history of their researched sport.	Level 3 - Understand Students presented some information about the origin and history of their researched sport.	Level 4 - Expert Students presented factual and detailed information about the origin and history of their researched sport.
Rules & Equipment	Level 1 - Confused Students presented inaccurate, incomplete or unable to explain rules for how to play their sport.	Level 2 - Trying Students presented unclear rules and minimal details of equipment used to play their sport.	Level 3 - Understand Students presented only some rules and listed some equipment used to play their sport	Level 4 - Expert Students presented clear rules and listed all equipment used to play their sport.
Critical Elements	Level 1 - Confused Students explained inaccurate or no critical elements for their sport and provided no demonstration.	Level 2 - Trying Students explained and demonstrated only 1 critical element for their sport.	Level 3 - Understand Students explained and demonstrated 2 critical elements for their sport.	Level 4 - Expert Students explained and demonstrated 4 or more critical elements for their sport.
Presentation/Modeling	Level 1 - Confused Students were unorganized and confused on presentation topic. No model of activity.	Level 2 - Trying Students showed little to no knowledge of information presented and very little communication between peers. No model of activity.	Level 3 - Understand Students showed some knowledge of information presented and organization between peers. Very little modeling of activity presented.	Level 4 - Expert Students showed knowledge of the information being presented. Presentation was organized and clear modeling of the activity was presented.
Activity	Level 1 - Confused Activity was not unique or taken from another source. Instructions were unclear and not within the 5 minute time frame.	Level 2 - Trying Activity was too similar to other activities already created. Limited instructions were given, no play time was allotted.	Level 3 - Understand Activity was unique but students were unable to condense instruction and very little play time was allotted.	Level 4 - Expert Activity was unique and clear instructions were given. The class was able to play activity within the allotted 5 minutes.
