iRubric: Demonstrate plastic repair method welding rubric

Student did not use his/her safety guidelines, no safety glasses, safety shoes, uniform shirt, and a light pair of welding gloves. Student was not using the welder in a safe manner not to burn other students in the shop area.

Student did use 50% of the safety PPE, student also demonstrated safety precautions while using the welder, not to burn other students with the instructor reminding the students several times while the student performed the weld.

Student performed all safety measures using PPE and safely used the welder around his/her classmates and placed the welder on the cooling stand provided with the tool so other students could not be burnt.

Student did not perform the repair to specifications, or the student made no effort to make the repair at all.

Student properly retrieved the ISO code from the plastic that needed repaired, the student also selected the proper welding rod for the repair, student followed all the steps during the procedure and when repair was finished the student placed the welder in a safe place, as to not burn any other student with, the instructors assistance.
