Use of multiple sounds	Excellent Students have included at least 5 and possibly more different sounds in the composition	Good Students have included at least 4 different sounds in the composition	Fair Students have included at least 3 different sounds in the composition	Poor Students have included only one or two sounds in the composition.
Form	Excellent There is a clear and planned definite form to the composition.	Good There seems to be a plan for form but it is not well arranged.	Fair There is a very loose form and the composition seems somewhat not arrange with thought.	Poor There is no apparent form evident and the whole composition appears completely random.
Variety	Excellent Students have included at least three character changes over their composition.	Good Students have included at least two character changes over their composition.	Fair Students have included one character change over their composition.	Poor Students have not included any character changes over their composition.
