Book Clubs 
Students will also complete the main idea for each chapter read. The students will also be able to use prior knowledge and textual features to define vocabulary or unknown words in the chapters. The goal of this rubric is to obtain a better understanding of how to write a great summary and locate the main idea within a chapter, while using prior knowledge textual features to identify unknown or vocabulary words and make inferences while reading.
