Past Tenses
	Very Good 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Past Continuous	Very Good The student completes the sentences given with the Past Continuous with no mistakes.	Good The student makes about 2 or 3 simple writing mistakes but completes the sentences with no problems	Fair The student has problems to complete the sentences and has quite a few mistakes	Poor Many mistakes and serious problesms to complete the sentences (only 1 or 2 sentences correct)
Past Simple Vs Continuous	Very Good The student can distinguish between the Past Continuous and the Past Simple with no problems	Good Simple writing difficulties but no problems to distinguish between Past Continuous and Simple	Fair Some mistakes and problems to distinguish. he/she makes between 3 and four sentences correctly	Poor Many problems between the two tenses and serious writing mistakes
Irregular verbs	Very Good The student makes sentences using the irregular past form of the verbs with no mistakes or with simple writing mistakes.	Good The student writes a text using the Simple Past but with between 2 and 4 mistakes	Fair The student makes some mistakes in the past form (between 4 and 7)	Poor The students makes more than 7 mistakes using the irregular form of the Past Tense
Translating parts of a text	Very Good The student translates all the verb tenses and all the vocabulary and expressions with no or with 1 or 2 simple mistakes	Good The student makes between 3 and 5 mistakes translating the text	Fair The student shows problems to translate and he/she makes quite a few mistakes (between 5 and 8)	Poor Many problems in the translation and a lot of mistakes.
