Pattern Tessellates the plane	Poor Not completed. Large gaps in tessellation	Fair Completed. Small gaps in tessellation	Good Completed. Very few gaps.	Excellent Completed. No gaps at all.
Template turned in	Poor No template turned in. Or template does not match design.	Fair Template has flaws. template does not match perfectly.	Good Template matches nicely. Fery few errors.	Excellent Perfectly matched template.
Appearance/Neatness	Poor Paper is torn and/or wrinkled. No color	Fair Paper is not torn/wrinkled. Tessellation is colored. No picture drawn inside.	Good Paper is not torn/wrinkled . Paper is colored with picture drawn in tessellation. (no major detail)	Excellent Paper is not torn/wrinkled. Paper is colored with detailed picture as well.
Creativity/Difficulty	Poor Basic Shapes. Only one or less cuts to template. copied from internet.	Fair Large Template or No picture drawn for detail.	Good General design with picture inside.	Excellent Unique design with unique detailed picture inside tessellation.
