	SENSACIONAL! 5 pts	BRAVO! 4 pts	BIEN! 3 pts	POBRE! 2 pts
Completion, Organization & Effort	SENSACIONAL! Writer exceeds or fulfills the requirements by writing fully detailed sentences in the target language and has put care and effort into the process. Sentences are organized and topic is discussed thoroughly. One or more pictures are included.	BRAVO! Writer included somewhat detailed sentences. Writing is generally logical. Most information on topic included. At least one picture is included.	BIEN! Writer has included some or a few detailed sentences, leaving out key components of the writing prompt. Sentences are somewhat unorganized. No pictures.	POBRE! Paragraphs are very unorganized. There is little or no flow. Incomplete coverage of topic. No pictures.
Comprehensibility	SENSACIONAL! Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Spanish vocabulary and idioms are used correctly. No interpretation on part of reader is necessary.	BRAVO! Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms. Minimal interpretation on the part of reader is required.	BIEN! Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate and must rely on interpretation. Incorrect use of vocabulary and idioms.	POBRE! Multiple errors in vocabulary/idiom usage. Incomprehensible throughout writing.
General Accuracy	SENSACIONAL! Writer stays in target language throughout and uses correct word order, spelling and punctuation.	BRAVO! Writer usually uses correct word order, spelling and punctuation.	BIEN! Writer makes frequent mistakes with word order, spelling and punctuation.	POBRE! Writer consistently makes errors with word order, spelling and punctuation.
Grammar Accuracy	SENSACIONAL! There are no errors in subject / verb & noun?adjective agreements.	BRAVO! There are 1 or 2 errors in subject / verb or noun/adjective agreements.	BIEN! Writer makes 3 or more mistakes in subject / verb or noun/adjective agreements.	POBRE! Writer makes repeated errors and displays little/no understanding of grammar rules.
Oral presentation	SENSACIONAL! Reader pronounces all words correctly and sounds loud and clear. Very easy to understand.	BRAVO! Reader pronounces most of the words correctly and can be clearly understood.	BIEN! Reader mispronounces several words, but he/she can still be understood.	POBRE! The reader puts no effort into pronouncing words correctly and is eager to finish the presentation. Hard to understand at time.
Listening to classmates	SENSACIONAL! Listened to classmates' presentations with respect. Showed interest during their presentations.	BRAVO! Listened to classmates presentations, but did not show much interest.	BIEN! Was distracted while classmates were presenting.	POBRE! Talked with other students or interrupted during classmate's presentation.
