Honors Poetry Portfolio: This project is the final assessment in the unit of Poetry. This is a two week task wherein students compile original poetry done in class showcasing the use of imagery, sound effects and rhyming, etc. Poems showcase various poetry styles learned, plus free verse poetry of the student.

The poems and portfolio are messy or disorganized. Images are not included or related and does not enhance the project. The project was not in a folder or put together correctly.

The poems and portfolio show some thoughtfulness in their presentation. Images were not related or included but were used to enhance the presentation of the project. The folder is destroyed and not put together totally.
Good
The poems and portfolio are attractive in terms of design, layout and neatness and 1-2 images are included but not related to the poems. Overall presentation is good. The project was in a folder but it was semi-destroyed and put together mostly correctly.
Excellent
The portfolio is exceptionally attractive in terms of design, layout and neatness. All images used are related to the poems and enhances the overall presentation of the portfolio.The portfolio was submitted in a folder and put together correctly.
