Discoball Fractions
Pizza Fraction Project
Students will use a disco ball template to color and to identify the fractions, or parts of the color to the whole disco ball. Students were able to identify all of the fractions that needs to be simplified and use division to divide the numerator and denominator to make a simplified fraction. Standard: Recognize and generate simple equivalent fractions with denominators of 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 Explain why the fractions are equivalent, e.g., by using a visual fraction model
