Planting a Garden: Rubric (5th grade)
In groups, students will be given different seeds in order to plant a garden in the courtyard. Each group will research their plant types to learn about the different conditions that their plants thrive in. They will each submit a one page report explaining their findings. Together, students will plant their seeds. They will also need to keep track of the growth of their plants over time and record their measurements on a growth chart.
