Telling Time Telling Time Students will write 3-5 sentences sharing about their favorite springtime activities. Students will show and tell the time of day in which they enjoy doing these activities using an analog clock. Time CCSS.Math.Content.2.MD.C.7 Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m.

Placing The Hands of The Clock.	Limited Student cannot place the hands of the clock correctly corresponding with the times in the sentences.	Progressing Student can place one of the two hands of the clock correctly corresponding with the times in the sentences.	Meets Student places the hands of the clock correctly corresponding with the sentences.	Exceeds Students place the hands on the clock correctly corresponding with the sentences. Student draws the hour hand shorter and the minute hand longer.
Sentences	Limited Student cannot correctly write a sentence that tells the time of day that they do an activity.	Progressing Student can correctly write a sentence that tells what time of day they do an activity with significant assistance.	Meets Student can correctly write a sentence that tells what time of day they do an activity with some assistance.	Exceeds Student can correctly write a sentence that tells what time of day they do an activity.
Grammar, Spelling, Mechanics	Limited Sentences have errors that detract from meaning.	Progressing Student has patterns of errors.	Meets Student has minor errors that do not interfere with meaning.	Exceeds Student has very few or no errors.
