Leg Position	Poor Flat foot contact<BR> Short stride<BR> Wide stride (student runs with feet wider than shoulder width apart)	Fair Legs near full extension<BR> Upper body very vertical, no leaning forward at all	Good Heel-toe contact with the ground<BR> Knee angle between 45 to 90 degree<BR> Top of quadricep almost parallel to ground	Excellent Heel-toe contact when lightly running<BR> High heel recovery (coming up toward buttocks)<BR> Top of quadricep parallel to ground<BR> Knee angle 90 degrees
Arm/Upper Body Position	Poor High guard arm position (arms come up toward shoulder level)<BR> Upper body completely vertical	Fair Arms at middle guard (they are swung at lower chest, mid-torso level)<BR> Upper body less vertical, no leaning forward	Good Arms at low guard (natural running position)<BR> Arms in opposition to the legs<BR> Elbows bent not quite 90 degrees; partially extended during the run<BR> Upper body with slight forward lean for momentum	Excellent Arms in complete opposition to legs<BR> Upper body with necessary forward lean<BR> Complete elbow extension<BR> Elbosw at 90 degrees
