Execution	Unacceptable Dancer almost never shows proper placement of feet, knees and upper body. Dancer does not perform with pointed feet in the air. Dancer never shows proper use of pile and is unable to execute the exercise.	Developing Dancer rarely shows proper placement of feet, knees, and back. Dancer is heavy and does not show proper use of pile. Feet do not pointe well in the air and dancer is not able to execute the exercsie clearly.	Proficient Dancer mostly shows proper placement of feet, knees, back and arms throughout exercise. Dancer uses pile and shows understanding of beating thighs in entréchat quatre.	Exemplary Dancer shows proper placement of feet, knees, back and arms throughout entire exercise. Turn out is evident and proper use of pile and pushing off the floor. Entrechat quatre is clear and understanding of the beat is clear.
Musicality	Unacceptable Dancer is off beat the entire exercise.	Developing Dancer falls off beat from time to time throughout the exercise.	Proficient Dancer performs most of the exercise by staying with the music.	Exemplary Dancer performs entire exercise by keeping a steady beat and with proper musical timing. Dancer shows great sense of Ballon throughout the exercise.
Focus/Effort	Unacceptable Dancer doesn't perform with any effort and appears to be very unfocused.	Developing Dancer demonstrates exercise with little effort.	Proficient Dancer appears focused and performs with a good amount of effort.	Exemplary Dancer performs exercise with true energy and effort.
