How well the group works together and stays on track with one another.

Limited

The group does not stay together. There is a lot of individual dancing and not as a group.
Some

The group does a fairly good job of staying together. They could still use some work on getting everyone to put forth 100%.
Good

The group works well together. Each member has contributed to the moves incorporated into the dance and are in sync most of the time.
Excellent

The group works very well together. Each member has contributed to the moves incorporated into the dance and are in sync.
Dance Moves

This assesses how well the groups were able to perform the 4 dance skills

Limited

They performed 2 or less dance moves with difficulty and had a hard time completing the 4 dance moves.
Some

They performed 3 of the dances moves with no error.
Good

They performed all 4 dance moves with very little error.
Excellent

They performed all 4 dance moves with no error and with great finesse.
Participation

This area is based on how well the students used their time during class to practice the dance skills

Limited

The students were very distracted and had a hard time staying focussed. They also expressed negative feelings toward the activity.
Some

The students were active sometimes and did not express any feelings toward the activity.
Good

The students were active most of the time during the practice of the dance moves and usually had a positive attitude towards the activity.
Excellent

The students were focussed and active 100% and had a positive attitude towards the activity.
