Fast Write Fast Write Students will comment on and reflect on a quote or a short piece of writing in class. In this case students will connect the quote "Courage is grace under pressure" to the character "The Man" in the story "The Sea Devil" and to the text itself. Meets Expectations (Minimum level) The writer is somewhat focused but regularly strays off the topic	Fully Meets Expectations The writer is focused most of the time and stays on the topic most of the time.	Exceeds Expectations The writer is consistently on the topic and engages the reader by keeping them interested.
