Rate	Needs Improvement Reads less than 60 words per minute on 2nd grade level material	Making Progress Reads 60-74 words per minute on 2nd grade level material	Good Reads 75-89 words per minute on 2nd grade level material	Excellent Reads 90 words per minute or greater on 2nd grade level material
Accuracy	Needs Improvement Reads with frequent stops to decode words. Student was unable to read passage with an acceptable number of errors.
