	Emerging Student work does not achieve most of the "Meeting" criteria 1 pts	Developing Student work does not achieve some of the "Meeting" criteria 2 pts	Meeting Student achieves all of the "Meeting" criteria 3 pts	Exceeding Student exceeds some of the "Meeting" criteria 4 pts
The writer gave five elements Five elements of a personal narrative were highlighted in the writing	Emerging Zero or one element was highlighted in the response	Developing Only three or two elements were highlighted in the response	Meeting Four elements were highlighted in the response	Exceeding All five elements were highlighted in the response
