Topic Relevancy	Exceeds Expectations Paper thoroughly address topic, reflects the requirements for the assignment and includes substantial & significant content and ideas.	Meets Expectations Well Paper reflects topic, the requirements for the assignment, and substantial content and ideas.	Meets Expectations Adequately Paper reflects topic, the requirements for the assignment and sufficient content and ideas.	Approaches Expectations Paper shows some consideration for the topic or assignment; adds a little to the topic discussion question.	Does Not Meet Expectations Paper shows no consideration for the topic or assignment requirements; does not add to discussion question.
Substantive	Exceeds Expectations Paper is well thought out and ideas are well developed. Paper incorporates key points from text and/or class discussion. Post significantly enhances the discussion question.	Meets Expectations Well Paper is well thought out and presents interesting ideas that contribute to the discussion question.
