Description	No Attempt Child was not able to give any details about the story that was just read to them. Child did not pay attention during the reading of the story and child needed more than 5 redirections to stay on task.	Prompted Child was able to give at least a 2 to 3 sentence summation of the short story. Student was able to give at least two of the following: beginning, middle, end to the story.	Mastery Child can fully summarize the short story given. They will be able to give a beginning middle and end summation. Child was actively listening during the story reading. No prompts or redirections needed.
