Active Reading Logs - Literature Circles 
The students write responses in their Active Reading Logs for the books they are reading in their literature circle group. Literature Circles are weekly, small group discussions about novels the students are reading. The purposes are to generate a habit of reading, to read for enjoyment, to foster a love of reading novels, to gain a deeper understanding of a novel and to assist your child in the transition to highschool.
