When grading the short answer, this is what the answer will be graded on. Short answers are worth ten points each for a total of 50 points. 	Poor 3 pts	Fair 6 pts	Above Average 9 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Grammar & Spelling 10 pts Students need to demonstrate proper grammatical skills.	Poor Short answer has many grammatical and spelling errors.	Fair Short answer has several grammatical and spelling errors.	Above Average Short answer has more than three grammatical and spelling errors.	Excellent Short answer has one or two grammatical and spelling errors.
Content 30 pts The content of the answer will demonstrate understanding of content.	Poor Question was not fully addressed in answer.	Fair Question was addressed but not answered sufficiently.	Above Average Question was addressed and answered somewhat sufficiently.	Excellent Question was answered correctly with details.
Length 10 pts The length of the answer is two or more sentences. This means that the answer is focused and organized.	Poor Short answer was not written in sentence.	Fair Short answer was one sentence.	Above Average Sentence length met the requirement, two or more sentences.	Excellent Sentence length met the requirement, two or more sentences.
