Class Work and Participation	Excellent Student proactively contributes to class by offering ideas and/or asks questions more than once per class and/or works consistently on class work the entire time.	Good Student sometimes contributes to class by offering ideas and asking questions and/or works on class work only some of the allotted time.	Unsatisfactory Student rarely contributes to class by offering ideas and asking questions and/or has trouble staying on task during class work time.
Listening	Excellent Student listens when others talk, both in groups and in class.	Good Student sometimes listens when others talk, both in groups and in class. Needs to be reminded to pay attention.	Unsatisfactory Student rarely listens when others talk, both in groups and in class. Student often interrupts when others speak.
Speaking English	Excellent Student regularly attempts to speak in English. Never refuses to respond during lesson.	Good Student sometimes attempts to speak in English.
