Choreography/Creativity Music Chosen Poses Transitions	Poor Shows little sense of creativity and choreographic ability. Movement is stagnant and doesn't build.	Fair Demonstrates some sense of choreography, but dance doesn't quite grow and fails to compliment music and theme.	Good Demonstrates good choreographic skills. Shows interesting formations and patterns and flows with the music. Some transitions are clear in the performance.	Excellent Demonstrates excellent creativity. Shows interesting poses and patterns and presents a story within the piece. Seamless transitions between segments of the performance.
Technical skills Skipping technical skills	Poor Fails to include any skipping technique. Veers completely away from assignment.	Fair Demonstrates little technique jumps are just regular.	Good Skipping Routine performed with attention to most details of technique, but hasn't attained proficiency in skipping styles yet.	Excellent Skipping Routine performed with great attention to quality of movement, little getting caught up, attention to the beat of the music etc.
Performance Skills Poses Formations	Poor The skippers are not very focused, concentrated or committed to performance.	Fair The skippers are generally focused, but only some attempt made to communicate with others on stage or audience.	Good The skippers perform with good energy and effort and communicate with each other and the audience through eye contact, facial and body expression. They add interesting poses and formations into the routine.
