Statistical Plots Statistical Plots Each student was given a statistical question. Students will create a data table, relative frequency table, histogram, dot plot, and calculate the mean, median and mode from data collected by a survey of 6th graders. Students will also identify the outlier (if applicable). All data will be displayed on a poster board. This assignment is worth 2 test grades. Statistical Plots

Data Table/ Tile	Poor Students constructed a data table to display data gathered.	Fair Student constructed a data table to display data using a ruler. Question was displayed on the poster.	Good Student constructed a data table using a ruler and neatly inputed all data. Question was clearly displayed at the top of the poster as a title.
Dot Plots	Poor Student constructed a dot plot.	Fair Student accurately constructed a dot plot and plotted most points accurately.	Good Student accurately constructed a dot plot and All Points were plotted accurately.
Relative Frequency Table	Poor .Student created a relative frequency table with equal interals, labeled parts to the table and listed all areas in relative frequency table.	Fair Student created a relative frequency table with equal intervals, inputed data properly, and calculated most percents correctly.	Good Student created a relative frequency table with equal intervals, inputed data properly, and calculated ALL percents correctly.
Histogram	Poor Students correctly created a histogram with proper intervals.	Fair Students correctly created a histogram with proper intervals and labels using a ruler.	Good Students created a histogram with proper labels, inervals and data inputed properly on the histogram using a ruler.
Mean. Median, Mode, Outlier	Poor Students identified mean, median, mode and outlier if applicable	Fair Students identified mean, median and mode & outlier if applicable and showed some steps required to do this.	Good Student was able to show ALL steps involved in finding the mean , median, mode and outlier. All were labeled clearly.
