Stance	Developing Student stands with feet staggered but the wrong foot is forward. Correct form is used most of the time..	Proficient Student stands with feet shoulder width apart feet slightly staggered. Right foot forward. Correct form is used most of the time.	Excellent Student stands with feet shoulder width apart feet slightly staggered. Right foot forward. Correct form is used everytime.
Preparation	Developing Student has some awareness of how to stand when doing the backhand. They are square to the net and Knees not bent standing straight up They do not step to target. Correct form is used most of the time..	Proficient Student does two handed grip. Racket back to the fence Knees bent Turn to side of the net Step towards target.
