Mathematical Content and Language	Does not meet expectations Does not show evidence of mathematical process or use math language. Student is unable to to adequately explain how they arrived at the amount. Student was unable to calculate the correct amount.	Adequately meets expectation Sometimes refers to shapes by name or colors. Student arrived at correct answers with help/ assistance.	Exceeds expectations Uses names of shapes while creating a new shape to complete the selected picture. Is able to independently and correctly calculate the amount of money represented by the image and clearly explain how they figured it out
Accuracy of Completed Picture	Does not meet expectations Did not complete the picture.	Adequately meets expectation The completed piece matched the picture but with different colors, shapes, and sizes.	Exceeds expectations The completed piece matches the picture using the correct colors, shapes, and sizes.
