Rarely Participates

Student rarely takes an active role in their own learning. Student does not participate and rarely shares ideas or asks questions. Displays poor listening skills. Often unprepared and disengaged from class.
Occasional Participation

Occasionally takes an active role in their own learning. Infrequently asks questions. Hesitant to share ideas or take risks. Only participates when called on. Needs regular reminders to stay on task. Assignments that are turned in are often incomplete.
Sometime Participates

Student sometimes takes an active role in learning. Shares relevant ideas and asaks appropriate questions. Contribute regularly to class discussions. Listens to classmates and respects others opinions. May need ocassional reminders to stay on task and complete work. Turns completed work in on time.
Consistently Participates

Consistently takes an active role in their learning. Participates regularly in discussions volunteers ideas asks aquestiona and defends opinions. Listen respectfully to classmates and teachers. Completes all assignments and makes the most out of class time each adn every day.
Always Participates

Always takes a voluntary thoughtful active role in their own learning. Challenges themselves daily. Demonstrate a genuine desire to learn and share ideas with teacher and clasmates. Initiate discussions, completes all work and are fully engaged in class on a daily basis.
