Stops
Gap/ Stop Line	Above Average Always allows for space between stop line. Can see the tiress of the vehicle ahead on ground.	Average Stops 15 feet behind the stop line.	Needs to Improve Mostly stops ahead of the stop line, some time over shoots this line, going past line. Seldom leaves a gap in traffic	Poor Never leave a gap at the stop line, always crosses over. Does not leave a gap between truck and car in front.
Brakes Covered	Above Average Always has brakes covered at intersections or when brakes are required.	Average Mostly has the brake covered while sitting at intersections. Releases brake at proper time.	Needs to Improve Occasionally has foot covering brake at intersections or stops.	Poor Seldom has foot covering the brake at stops.
Smooth Stopping	Above Average Always uses brakes to slow tractor and then clutch to bring tractor to a smooth stop. Never stalling truck. Never skidding or locking up brakes.	Average Uses brakes to slow tractor and then clutch to bring tractor to a smooth stop. Seldom stalling truck.
