Poor

Student is not involved with the class activity. Student needs constant reminders to get back on task.
Average

Student is mostly engaged in the activity. Student needs a reminder to get back on task.
Excellent

Student is constantly engaged in the activity. Student does not need reminders to stay on task.
Attendence

Poor

Student does not come to class or is significantly late. Student leaves the room often for bathroom, drink, or to see the nurse.
Average

Student attends most classes. Student is close to on time or leaves once for a short emergency (bathroom, drink, nurse).
Excellent

Student is always in class and on time. Student stays for the entire duration of the class time.
Enthusiasm

Poor

Student acts bored and does not attempt to participate in the unit's activities.
Average

Student actively participates in the unity or activity, but does not show desire to participate. Student is not excited to learn the unit.
Excellent

Student is excited to learn about the unit. Student participates in the unit actively.
Attitude

Poor

Student has a negative attitude. Student makes the experience bad for others around him or her.
Average

Student is neutral about the unit and projects. Student spreads mixed feelings around the class, both positive and negative.
Excellent

Student is positive about the projects being learned in class. Student enjoys the unit and shares the positive feelings with others.
