	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Three Paragraphs	Poor Student has one paragraph or less included on their paper.	Fair Student has two paragraphs included on their paper.	Good Student has three paragraphs or more included on their paper.
Topic/Concluding Sentence	Poor Student's paper does not contain a topic or concluding sentence.	Fair Student has included either a topic or concluding sentence.	Good Student has included a topic and concluding sentence.
Rules/Supporting details	Poor Student has listed one rule with at least three supporting details.	Fair Student has listed two rules with at least three supporting details.	Good Student has listed three rules with at least three supporting details.
Graphic Organizer	Poor Student turned in graphic organizer but not filled out	Fair	Good Student turned in graphic organizer and it's filled out
Conventions	Poor Student's paper has 8 or more errors.	Fair Student's paper has 5-8 errors.	Good Student's paper has 1-4 errors.
