Content	A (90-100) Notes are consistently detailed and relevant. The student's work clearly demonstrates recognition of the value of detailed annotation and beginning analysis.	B (80-89) Notes are mostly detailed and relevant. The student's work often demonstrates recognition of the value of detailed annotation and beginning analysis.	C 70-79) Notes are sometimes detailed and relevant. They may be lacking in detail that raises questions about whether the student viewed/understood the episode(s). The student's work sometimes demonstrates recognition of the value of detailed annotation and beginning analysis.	D (60-69) Notes are rarely detailed and relevant. The student's work rarely, if ever, demonstrates recognition of the value of detailed annotation and beginning analysis.	F (59-1) Notes are not detailed and relevant. The student's work does not demonstrate recognition of the value of detailed annotation and beginning analysis.
Structure	A (90-100) Notes are always organized using the Epi-Log template provided.	B (80-89) Notes are mostly organized using the Epi-Log template.	C 70-79) Notes are sometimes organized using the Epi-Log template.	D (60-69) Notes are rarely organized using the Epi-Log template.	F (59-1) The student does not make use of the Epi-Log template The student is not taking notes in any serious fashion.
