Group Presentation Rubric 
Working in groups of three to four, students will work collaboratively on a presentation to the class based on their analysis of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. The groups should have a poster or power point which includes: what the character looks like, what their personality is like, and why their chracter would survive better in 2015.

All basic relevant information is included, as well as some additional interesting aspects. Exhibits factual accuracy.
Visual Design

Poor

Presents information about the topic in an unorganized and uninteresting manner, with writing that is often not easy to read. Shows a lack of thought and planning.
Fair

Presents information about the topic in a somewhat organized and interesting manner, with writing that is not always easy to read. Shows some thought and suffers from being cluttered and/or unorganized.
Good

Information is presented clearly, and in an interesting and exciting manner, demonstrating understanding.The poster is used effectively as part of the presentation and careful planning is evident. All members of the group participate in a meaningful way.
Evidence

Groups should be able to support their claims with evidence from the readings.

Poor

There is little to no evidence on the project/ in presentation.
Fair

Little evidence or evidence that does not make sense or support the claim. Incorrect information present.
Good

There is some evidence from the readings, but some of it is loosely connected to the point.
Excellent

A substantial amount of proof is used in order to prove the group's points. The information is correct and connected to the point.
