Presentation suggests that group does not have grasp of information; group cannot answer questions about subject.
Fair
Presentation suggests that group is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.
Good
Presentation suggests that group is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent
Presentation demonstrates group's full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Graphics and expected components
Poor
Presentation has no graphics and does not include expected components.
Fair
Presentation occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation. Contains few of expected components.
Good
Presentation's graphics relate to text and presentation. Contains most expected components.
Excellent
Presentation's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and information presented. Contains all or more of the expected components.

Poor
Presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.
Fair
Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors.
Good
Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors.
Excellent
Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors.
Speaking and Listening 1
Poor
Group reads all of report with no eye contact. Cannot answer any questions asked from peers.
Fair
Group occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report. Can answer a limited number of questions asked by peers.
Good
Group maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes. Can answer most questions asked by peers.
Excellent
Group maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes. Answers all questions asked by peers without hesitation.
Speaking and Listening 2
Poor
Group members mumble, incorrectly pronounce terms, and speak too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair
Group members voices are low. Members incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.
Good
Group members voices are clear. Members pronounce most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent
Group members uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
