Poetry Presentation Poetry Presentation Students will read a full book of poetry for a poet of choice and research the poet's life. As they get an idea of the writer's style, they'll produce two poems that use elements of this style. They will also write a poem analysis. CREATIVITY	Poor	Fair	Good	Excellent Selection of song from contemporary artist makes a clear connection to the original poet and to your understanding of your poet's style; share and compare lyrics of song to poem. Make the connection between differences, similarities between song and poem. (25)
REQUIRED ELEMENTS	Poor	Fair	Good	Excellent proper noting of sources; MLA reference page; hands in analysis paper of one of your poet's poems; that paper will be scored on the ERB rubric and extrapolated to this score (25)
